Try your hand at tapas – join a cooking class in Tapas restaurant
Tapas are snacks, canapés or finger food that originated in Spain. The original tapas were the slices of bread or meat which sherry drinkers in Andalusian taverns used to cover their glasses between sips. This was a practical measure meant to prevent fruit flies from hovering over the sweet sherry. Tapas come in many different forms and can vary from town to town – it can be olives, or seafood, tortilla (Spanish omelet), chorizo, potatoes etc.
The cooking class will start in the main dining room where every person will have his/her station set up with the main ingredients for tapas making. In Tapas restaurant you will learn how to make three different tapas. This should be a fun as well a useful activity to know a little bit more about Spanish cuisine.
